"Gateway systems can be defined in different ways, however, they are most typically defined as:
1. Systems where headmates have their own physical or spiritual bodies in another world/dimension/universe [including the innerworld]
OR
2. Systems that have a gateway/connection to another world/dimension/universe, that headmates can enter and exit through."
We know a handful of gateway systems, but we don't consider ourselves one, even when our fictives have a very deep connection to their source material that often cusps on being metaphysical.
